We arrived in rare sunshine, and to a equally warm welcome, so we took full advantage of the the sun deck. After a excellent breakfast and sorting out the teams we set off looking forward to seeing what improvements had been made since our last visit and we were not disappointed the course was in good order and well kept.


Feeling that we had to long to warm up for the longest drive in previous months, Mark declared that it would be on the 2nd hole. Thanks for that, but it did not put Darren off who returned in wining form to claim one of two trophies on the day




As you can see he was that pleased with his achivment it put him off his beer (but only for a minute), feeling that did not make it hard enough, Mark then chose the 11th for the nearest the pin. It was only 192yards, but again Darren was not put off and landed one only 5 yards from the pin, well done Darren only the triple left to do now!!!!!!!!!!!.


The over all trophy was won by professional David Beckham look alike Rob Wickens (but only on a count back Ian nearly took it )



Well done mate shame you have only got for 2 weeks till the next meeting. Others did not do so well on the day myself included as you can see below shaun had some trouble with the trees but made up for it on the greens!!!!





All in all we had a very good day and will definitely be back hope to see you all next month at Normanby on the 3rd below a more pics from the day.
